Cashmere skjerf ( SPRING NIGHT COLLECTION )
This garment has been designed on Nesøya a small island near Oslo, in Norway for those who love Scandinavian design. The garment is made by the beautiful people of Kashmir on the slopes of the Himalayas. We only use natural cashmere from the goats of the snow caped plateus and mountains in Kashmir herded by the nomadic people for many thousands of years ago. A cashmere scarf can last very long and gets better the more you use it. The silk we use is 100% silk from Kashmir. If you are satisfied please tell everybody, if not tell us.
The Pashmina story: Pashmina, Persian word for wool, is popularly known in the West as cashmere wool, from the old spelling for Kashmir. The fine wool comes from the undercoat of Himalayan mountain goats, raised by semi nomadic herders and It yields 38 ounces of fiber per year. The Tibetan Plateau provides the ideal environment for pashmina growth and the fibre is exceptionally absorbent and it dyes very easily and deeply. Pashmina shawls are prized all over the world for their incomarable softness, warmth and durability. Care for your Pashmina and it gets softer with frequent use. Although dry cleaning Pashmina is possible, the chemicals used during this process can harm the fibres so we recommend washing in cold or warm water using mild, natural soap or shampoo. Rinse until water runs clear and then drip dry only, away from direct sunlight, Do not wring- or twist, if lt needs pressing, iron over a damp cloth.
